6		Lemons; juice & rind, grated
5	c	Water
2	lb	Sugar
1	oz	Citric acid

Put water, sugar, acid and rind in a saucepan and bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Take off and add juice. If preferred, this may be strained.

Serving: Place a little in a glass and top up with chilled water.
